A single coir peat block is hydrated by adding water and slowly expands to up to 80–85 litres of coco coir growing medium.
- Best for growing plants – an excellent soil amendment for indoor potted plants and outdoor gardens, with a high Cation Exchange Capacity so nutrients are absorbed and released according to plant need.
- Best for growing seedlings – a lightweight, fluffy texture with better aeration for optimal germination of vegetable, herb, fruit and flower seeds.
- Promotes healthy root growth – absorbs water instantly, increases porosity, helps plants absorb more oxygen and prevents root rot.
- Usage – organic gardening, hydroponics, composting, worm bedding and mushroom substrate; a good substitute for peat moss.
