Construction Chemicals
Genuine material, correctly specified
We hold stock of fast-moving items and arrange indent supply for project quantities. Every dispatch carries the manufacturer's batch number and technical data sheet.
Epoxy Systems
Self-levelling compounds, screed binders, coating-grade epoxies, epoxy putty, mortar systems and low-viscosity injection resins. Specified where a floor needs a hard, seamless, chemically resistant surface that can be cleaned without degrading — production halls, warehouses, workshops and car parks. Available in solvent-free, high-build and self-levelling grades from roughly 0.3 mm to 5 mm, in gloss or matt. Selection turns on the traffic the floor carries and the chemicals it meets, not on colour.
PU Systems
Polyurethane screeds, deck coatings, liquid-applied membranes, elastic joint sealants and UV-stable top coats. Where epoxy is hard and rigid, polyurethane stays flexible and takes thermal shock — which is why it is the correct specification for hot wash-down areas, food and dairy floors, dye houses and exposed terraces. Screed grades run 4 mm to 9 mm and can be laid to fall with coved skirting for full drainage.
Waterproofing Chemicals
APP and SBS torch-applied membranes, two-component cementitious slurries, crystalline compounds, elastomeric acrylic coatings and integral waterproofing admixtures. The range covers every part of a structure that meets water — exposed terraces, sunken slabs, basements, retaining walls, water tanks and podium decks. Positive-side and negative-side systems are both stocked, because a basement leaking inward cannot always be treated from outside.
Repair Mortars
Polymer-modified repair mortars, flowable micro-concrete, epoxy and acrylic bonding agents, and zinc-rich corrosion-inhibiting primers for exposed reinforcement. Used to reinstate spalled concrete, honeycombed pours, corroded columns and beam soffits back to structural section. Where cover has failed, the rebar must be cleaned to bright metal and primed before any mortar goes on — skip that step and the repair lifts again within two seasons.
Grouts
Non-shrink cementitious grouts, high-strength epoxy grouts for machine bases, and free-flow grouts for anchor bolts and base plates. Specified where a load path has to be transferred without a void — compressor and press foundations, crane rails, turbine bases, bridge bearings and structural columns. Flow, working time and early strength are chosen against the pour gap and how quickly the plant needs to run again.
Sealants
Polysulphide, polyurethane and neutral-cure silicone sealants, supplied with the correct backer rod and primer. Joints move, and a joint filled with the wrong sealant tears within a year. These are specified by movement accommodation factor, joint width and exposure — expansion and construction joints, glazing perimeters, sanitary and wet-area junctions, and floor joints in trafficked bays that need a hard-wearing grade.
Primers
Solvent-free and solvent-based epoxy primers, moisture-tolerant and damp-tolerant primers, and adhesion promoters for difficult substrates. The least visible product in the range and the one that decides whether the system lasts: most coating failures are bond failures, not product failures. Grades are matched to substrate porosity, residual moisture and whether the surface has been ground, shot-blasted or acid-etched.
Protective Coatings
Chemical-resistant linings, anti-carbonation and anti-carbonation-plus-elastomeric coatings, solar-reflective roof coatings and potable and non-potable tank lining systems. These protect the substrate rather than decorate it — slowing carbonation and chloride ingress in exposed concrete, holding back acid and alkali attack in process areas, and cutting roof surface temperature. Food-contact and potable-water grades carry the relevant certification.
